In late February 2020, we spoke to Kristof Vandenweghe, owner of Bomedys, briefly to evaluate our collaboration.

Bomedys is a 100% Belgian company with 30 years of experience in "multi-channel" distribution to pharmacies, baby shops, health stores, and broad retail. Their focus is on two strategic segments, "mother & baby" and "senior," where innovative, consumer-friendly (para) pharmaceutical products and medical devices are offered.

Immediate trust

Kristof did not hesitate to work with us because he immediately had trust in our approach. "Of course, the threshold was not high for me. We started only with fuel cards; low risk. In addition, I met Kevin (Vanden Hautte) some time ago during a training course we took together. I knew I could trust you."

When Kristof and Kevin first spoke to each other, Spendless was only active in the telecom world, through the platform and services of myTelecom. Since we focus on large companies with myTelecom, Bomedys and Spendless did not work together in that period.

The first optimization

In February 2019, Kristof decided to become a member of our fuel card purchasing group; the first stone was laid. "I had just done the search for fuel cards myself, and your result was much better. You help cut costs where we don't have the time to negotiate."


The benefits of our collaboration

One of the great advantages of our collaboration is your honest approach and communication. All analyses are clearly explained and you stick to all agreements. This even goes so far as this phone interview, which was scheduled for around 4 pm and look, I was called 2 minutes before four...

"You can also find your correctness in the less positive things, like my waste costs, for example..." Kristof couldn't change suppliers because of their current contract. "You adapt and work tailored. For the optimization of our waste, you communicated very honestly that due to my then-current contract, you couldn't achieve enormous high savings, but there was some room to maneuver."

Satisfied with the new social secretariat

For the optimization of Bomedys' social secretariat, Kristof decided to change supplier. Not because he was not satisfied with the current service, but because the annual savings were so significant that he could no longer ignore it. "You don't just change social secretariats, and certainly not for just a few hundred euros a year. We tried with the current supplier, but the differences with the new one were too great..."

The people at Bomedys have been using the new social secretariat since January 2020. We are pleased to hear that the transition went well and that they are satisfied with the service.

Future

Kristof has already spoken with other business owners about our services and proposed to tackle some additional cost items.
